What are Fluorescein Sodium Ophthalmic Strips?
Ophthalmic strips are small, flexible strips that deliver medication to the eye. They are inserted into the lower lid of the patient’s eyes. A variety of medication can be administered through these strips and directly to the patient’s eye. It is easy to insert and does not require the patient to tilt their head back or hold their eye open.
If you’re looking for a convenient and non-invasive way to administer medication, this is what you need.
This can increase the effectiveness of treatment and minimise the risk of side effects.
As this is a cost-effective method, there is no extra special equipment needed to administer the medication to the patient’s eyes. This is one of the simplest and worry-free ways as the patient is not uneasy by things such as needles or eye drops that can sometimes put them on edge.
This makes them a versatile tool for healthcare providers. It is a tool that is effective, precise and non-invasive. They also cut down on risks of contamination and infection as they’re individually packaged compared to multi-dose bottled medication
They are small and compact so they are easy for healthcare practices to store and order in bulk therefore reducing the amount of time having to spend to reorder materials.
From a patient’s perspective, you can imagine this would be a more bearable and comfortable experience.
Between ordering and delivery, this is a very smooth process. Once you’ve placed your order on our website, it will get delivered straight to your door fast!
